Cryptocurrencies supported by Cake Wallet

Cake Wallet is one non-custodial app for sixteen separate chains — privacy coins, Bitcoin and its forks, the EVM ecosystem, and several chains that don't fit any of those boxes. Every wallet you create belongs to you alone: seeds and keys are generated on your device and never leave it, so no one at Cake can see your balances, freeze your funds, or move them on your behalf.

The pages below cover what genuinely differs from one chain to the next — seed formats and derivation paths, how receive addresses behave, how fees are set, and which privacy tools apply. Pick the currency you're using and start there.

EVM chains and tokens

Five EVM networks, each its own wallet type. They share the familiar 0x address format and a BIP39 seed — 12 words by default, with 24 available if you prefer — which means one seed can cover all of them in a wallet group. The same address format does not mean the same network, though — always confirm which chain a sender is using before funds are on the way.

Other chains

Tokens

Beyond native coins, you can hold tokens on all five EVM chains, on Solana (SPL), on Tron (TRC-20), and on Zano (Confidential Assets). Well-known tokens are available out of the box, and anything else can be added by contract address — see Add custom tokens.

One thing worth remembering: tokens never pay their own fees. Sending USDT on Ethereum costs ETH, on Polygon it costs POL, on Tron it costs TRX, and so on. Keep a small balance of the chain's native coin so your token transfers can go through.

Legacy currencies

Two currencies we once supported can no longer be created. Wownero wallets still open, but only to show you their seed and keys so you can recover your funds in another wallet. Haven support has also been removed. If you hold either, the Wownero page walks through getting your funds out.
